The Embodiment of Sound

Shape Changing & The Living Pattern of Light

“Power rests on the kind of knowledge one holds. What is the sense of knowing things that are useless?”

— Carlos Castaneda, The Teachings of Don Juan: A Yaqui Way of Knowledge

Explorations for Shape Changing and the LPL

What are you devoted to?
Not just what you want—but what you are willing to embody each day.

How do you most want to feel?
Choose 3–5 qualities or frequencies you wish to live from.

Who are you becoming?
What identity are you gently releasing?
What identity is asking to emerge?

If these became your dominant frequencies, how would your life change?
How would you move? Speak? Create? Love? Rest?

What excuses, stories, or familiar identities are you ready to release?
What would no longer be necessary if you fully trusted your deepest knowing?

Practice shape-shifting through sound.
Slow down. Close your eyes. Become the mountain.
Become the river. Become the whale.
Become light. Become silence.
Allow yourself to dissolve into pure vibration.

Listen deeply.
What wisdom does each form have to offer?
What qualities are asking to be embodied in your own life?

Notice the spaces.
The silence between notes.
The stillness between breaths.
The space between thoughts.
What lives there?

Practice Spiritual Alchemy.
Welcome whatever arrives at your door with curiosity instead of resistance.
How might this experience be transformed into wisdom, compassion, beauty, or gold?

Each morning, choose your frequency intentionally.
Ask yourself:

Who do I choose to embody today?

Rather than waiting for the world to shape your frequency, become the conscious composer of your own resonance.

The Guest House

This being human is a guest house.

Every morning a new arrival.

A joy, a depression, a meanness,

some momentary awareness comes

as an unexpected visitor.

Welcome and entertain them all!

Even if they are a crowd of sorrows,

who violently sweep your house

empty of its furniture,

still, treat each guest honorably.

He may be clearing you out

for some new delight.

The dark thought, the shame, the malice.

meet them at the door laughing and invite them in.

Be grateful for whatever comes.

because each has been sent

as a guide from beyond.

— Jellaludin Rumi

Summer Integration

As the energy of summer expands, give yourself permission to rest, play, and integrate the embodiment practices from our previous sessions.

Continue your daily sound practices.

Humming

Hum freely throughout the day, or direct your humming into places that feel tense, numb, painful, or stagnant.

Allow vibration to become medicine.

AUM Practice

Practice AUM audibly or silently as a way of returning your awareness to the present moment.

Let sound call you home.

Practice the Art of Listening (Nada Yoga)

Notice the frequencies you are embodying.

Are they consciously chosen?

Or have they quietly become familiar patterns?

With awareness, invite them to soften, transform, awaken, or transmute into frequencies that are more aligned with who you are becoming.

Energy follows awareness.

Listen to the World

Become curious.

What sounds, symbols, synchronicities, and patterns are revealing themselves?

How is Life speaking to you?

4–7–8 Breathing

  • Inhale through your nose for 4 counts.

  • Hold for 7 counts.

  • Exhale slowly through your mouth for 8 counts.

As your breath slows, your nervous system learns a new rhythm. If you initially experience mild lightheadedness, simply soften your effort and continue practicing gently.

Affirmations & Mantras

I rest

I love

I belong

I am kind

I am joyful

I trust life

I am the infinite light of being

I honor the sacred dark within me and the radiant light
