An inspirational afternoon of poetry, sound, and magic featuring Damaris (Penny Vieregge), Edwin Huizinga & Deva Munay!

"Overlapping Halos" invites you on a journey to experience the power of words, vibrations, and music to awaken your senses. By bringing three unique forms of sound together, we offer you a new level of harmony and connection. "Overlapping Halos" is a collaboration to document Damaris’ mastery and love of the poetry of Hafiz.

Damaris (Penny Vieregge) is a Big Sur legend living her 94th year in wonder and amazement. Eleven years ago, she was given a copy of "The Gift," containing poems by Shams Al Udin Mohammed Hafiz, and it changed her life.

One of her great joys is sharing these translations/renderings by Daniel Ladinsky with all who are moved to dance with the universe. She will be joined by Edwin and Deva.

Edwin Huizinga is a world renowned violinist and composer who has a heart of gold and bridges diverse forms of art and music.

Deva Munay is a master of alchemy crystal singing bowls and has taught, performed and given lectures throughout the world.

Your ticket also includes Persian inspired food, a free copy of their album, and opening performances by our neighbors Jake Padorr as well as Nick Leahy and the Lindys.
